This search function searches TEXT in the uploaded image to see if it matches a model registered on the EESS. For best results upload an image of the nameplate of the equipment, or an image that contains words you think are the model number.

Image types: PNG, Tiff, JPEG and file size max 15MB.

If using desktop/laptop - you can ‘Upload image’ from a file on computer.  

If using mobile/tablet - you can upload from taking a picture or from library on device (Do not upload video).

‘Search’ is only enabled once an image is successfully uploaded (thumbnail of uploaded image displayed and hyperlink to view image in new pop-up window).

Only one image at a time can be searched – to search a different image you must ‘Clear’ and redo ‘Upload image’.

Once image uploaded click 'Search'

Results
If there are results then they show the matching records of registered equipment relevant to the search details.

You can click on the 'Equipment Registration Number' hyperlink to see more details on the equipment - including the Business and Trading name of the registered Responsible Supplier. If the seller is not that business, then before buying the equipment confirm with the seller that they purchased it from the Responsible Supplier shown in the details.
